For The Citizen of East Alabama, I designed client ads that spoke to the local community and eventually took on the full layout of the weekly newspaper. Each issue meant bringing together stories, photos, and ads into a clean, cohesive design and preparing it for print. Alongside the paper, I also managed the website and social media, creating visuals that extended the newspaper’s reach online. The project gave me experience balancing print and digital design while making sure everything felt connected and consistent.
